TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Complete welds using one of the following processes:
GMAW, MCAW, or FCAW - Read and interpret welding symbols
- Operate overhead cranes (in-house training available)
- Follow the Occupational Health and Safety program
EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE
- Diploma in welding and fitting or relevant experience
- Knowledge of welding symbols
- Good manual dexterity
- Ability to work independently; conscientious and versatile.
- Ability to operate an overhead crane (in-house training available)
- Ability to read blueprints and drawings (an asset)
- Experience working for a steel structure manufacturer (an asset)
