TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Carry out steel purchases : price negotiation, issue of purchase orders and management of out-of-stock parts
- Proceed with the manufacturing of projects using software specialized in steel structures Issue the production documents (drawings, barcodes, lists) necessary for the various stakeholders in the factory
- Design steel structures and building foundations in accordance with codes and standards in Eastern Canada
- Coordinate the start of production at the subcontract manufacturing level
- Proceed with purchases of certain special items and follow up on them
- Assist the production coordinator as well as the foreman with all requests related to the proper functioning of the factory
EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE
- DEP, college diploma or other relevant experience at the level of a steel structure manufacturer
- Knowledge of reading steel structure manufacturing drawings
- Experience in steel purchasing.
- Mastery of the Office suite
- Knowledge of the Mobilis suite (Illico, Inca) is an asset
- Detailed, autonomous person with good team spirit
